About the role: This hands-on role is perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their culinary career or who wants to start their culinary journey in the right place. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and develop your managerial capabilities.
The key responsibilities of this role are managing a busy kitchen section, with a focus on developing junior chefs, while maintaining a high standard of food quality, hygiene & presentation.
This role offers a flexible 6 day rotating roster.
About you: This is the perfect role for someone who will relish the opportunity to help build a team from the ground up and establish a respectful working environment. The perfect candidate will lead by example, be professional, and have excellent organisational and communication skills. They should be willing to coach and mentor junior team members, and work alongside senior Chefs and front of house managers to deliver a top class dining experience.
You should have a strong desire to improve your people management skills, and have a sound understanding of OHS and WHS regulations. You will offer quality and consistency throughout every service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
