To assist us in delivering a premium customer experience in this amazing environment, Delaware North at Lizard Island Resort are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team.
You will be a passionate and an active team player with the ability to engage with staff and guests alike, you will have an exceptional eye for detail with superior standards of service. Your natural energy and team focus will mean you are happy to help your colleagues and assist with a range of duties.
What you will bring to the role;
- Appropriate qualifications and experience working within a 5 star hotel environment
- A passion for food and creative flair
- Experience in maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
- Self-motivation and proactive approach
- A friendly and flexible disposition that encourages client and customer feedback and demonstrates a high level of professionalism at all times.
Off shift you will be able to experience Lizard Island on the reef or on land, from snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, tennis under night lights, morning yoga on the beach to many more fun staff activities, you really can achieve the easy going life many people dream of.
This is a”live-on“remote location role. Working in a remote location is not for everyone, so you must think carefully about the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time.
