ABOUT US
NOMAD Group opened their first restaurant, NOMAD, in Surry Hills in 2013 and is now working on its new venue opening in January 2023 called Beau.
Ibrahim Kasif, former Stanbuli owner and chef, will take on the role of Head Chef at Beau. We will be launching in the heart of Reservoir Street in a brand new award winning designed building by SJB architects.
Beau will be split in two venues:
- Beau & Dough, an all-day venue open 7 days from 7 am to late, will be serving a manoush menu grounded by tradition as well as rotating re-inspired versions of the much-loved street food. The menu is inspired by a love of Lebanese flat bread which will be complemented by Middle Eastern dishes. Beau & Dough can be enjoyed on the spot or from home with our takeaway option.
- Beau Bar, a wine-centric bar will offer an extensive wine list of over 300 selections focusing on small and emerging brands. In addition a boutique selection of cocktails will be available everyday from 5 pm along with delicious food coming from the Dough kitchen with a heavy focus on fresh seafood.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sous Chef at Beau, you will report directly into the Head Chef. You will be responsible for your own section of the kitchen whilst also overseeing and communicating clearly with the entire kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity to show your leadership qualities whilst also learning new and different techniques in the kitchen.
ABOUT YOU
- Experienced Sous Chef or Junior Sous looking to take the next step
- Experience in leading a teams or willing to develop their leadership skills
- Willing to develop pastry skills
- Commitment, passion and appreciation for the hospitality industry
- Ability to work autonomously and treat all guests and members of your team with respect, humility and kindness
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Must have the right to work in Australia
