This is an exciting opportunity to join OEM that genuinely cares for its staff and customers.Reporting to Service Controller, the role will see you interpret, process and support customer Spare Parts requirements. Your leadership, strong customer service and problem-solving skills will allow you to excel in this role. You will leverage on a variety of communication tools and techniques to ensure prompt turnaround to Spare Parts inquiries and orders.As a Spare Parts Interpreter at Komatsu Forklifts you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too. We also provide a phone and uniforms/PPE for you.Roster: Monday to Friday 730am-4pm so you can be home every day to enjoy the afternoon!Location: Townsville branchKomatsu Benefits:Families Policy: 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave, plus many more family friendly benefitsFinancial: Company funded Income Protection Insurance Career: Recognition, awards, flexibility, further education studies and internal career developmentHealth: Corporate discount with Bupa, Total Wellbeing Solution with Telus HealthTravel: Discounts with Avis, Qantas, Crown, IHG and travel agentsReferral Program: $3000 referral payment for referring a successful new employee to KomatsuKey Responsibilities: Compile quotes for the service department and external customersPrepare customer invoices and external and internal sales and data entry into parts computerReview market competitiveness of our parts and discuss discounts for volume customersArrange courier pick-ups and deliveriesControl all stock replenishments for the warehouse and field service vansPrepare and dispatch inter branch stock transfer requestsAssist Field Service and Workshop technicians in locating and ordering parts for breakdown repairsProcess and prepare all parts required for Workshop Sales and Hire PrepsProcess daily paperwork including booking out parts collected for jobs and all completed incoming part ordersRaise Purchase orders and Goods receipt and update stock purchasedIdentify problems relating to the product and process and make recommendationsUse Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with EEO practices and proceduresWhat we are looking for:Experience in a similar role within automotive/light vehicle industryPassion for leadership and mentoring people to be the best they can beCustomer focused and the ability to liaise with internal and external customersExperience in inventory control and warehouse systemsUnderstanding of Parts Sales & supply chain activitiesStrong communication skills - verbal and writtenCompetent in Microsoft OfficeCurrent driver’s licence and Forklift ticket Ready to get started?
