About the role...
Due to the impending retirement of a highly experienced Litigation Lawyer, as part of their succession planning, they now seek to appoint a Special Counsel/Partner Level Commercial Litigation Lawyer who is adept in handling a variety of Commercial Litigation matters to assist their clients with a range of disputes for SME's & corporations across varied industries.
Essentially the role will involve providing timely, commercially astute and strategic advice for a high quality clientele to deliver their desired outcomes. As a key senior lawyer within the practice here you will contribute your expertise, sharing your knowledge & insights with those less experienced to provide expert advice & strategies on disputes arising from eg. contract/agreement breaches, property disputes, insurance claims, negligence claims, mediation and risk management matters.
About you...
- Our client is looking for a skilled practitioner with extensive Litigation experience (both running files and including court appearances)
- A strong eye for detail and highly developed communication (both written and verbal) skills;
- Enjoy working independently but also as part of a team;
- Excellent management and organisational skills, drive & enthusiasm to play an active role in business development initiatives, providing leadership, mentoring and working collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment.
