Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary you will be responsible for Risk Management, Management of Change and developing and maintaining compliance within BCI.

The Company

BCI Minerals Limited (ASX:BCI) is an Australian owned mineral resources company with salt and potash as its initial focus. A future Tier One project, Mardie has been designed to produce 5.35Mtpa of high-purity salt and 140ktpa of Sulphate of Potash (SOP).

Using an inexhaustible seawater resource and 99% of the energy required produced by natural solar and wind energy, our Mardie project is a multi-generational sustainable opportunity that will supply the growing chemical, renewable energy, and agricultural industries with Salt and Sulphate of Potash for generations to come.

The Role

The Specialist Risk will have three main objectives, these are:

• Risk Management: Acting as a second line enterprise risk expert you will work with the operation, projects, corporate teams and BCI employees of all levels to ensure an accurate and complete risk profile. You will guide the business in the development, implementation and verification of critical controls. As a member of the corporate team you will partner with corporate, site and project teams to ensure regular risk routines are undertaken effectively. You will ensure risk reporting at all levels adds value and guides business decision making at all levels.
• Management of Change: Maintain the Management of Change framework including the digital register of changes. Ensure the corporate and project teams are effectively managing change using a risk-based approach.
• Compliance: Develop and maintain the BCI compliance framework and compliance plan using a risk-based approach to identifying and closing gaps in the control environment of the project and the business.

About You:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or compliance. You will have experience working within a project environment or within the resources industry with experience in frontline high-risk environments.

Demonstrated experience communicating with varied stakeholders from frontline operational teams through to executive and board members is required along with exposure in developing integrated enterprise-wide risk, compliance and change frameworks. Additionally, exposure in facilitating internal risk audits, coaching and workshop facilitation experience and excellent organisational, oral and written communication skills is a must. The successful candidate will also have membership of the RMIA or equivalent body and will be able to demonstrable attendance of professional development and industry events.
