We offer the opportunity to join a growing department and be part of a team dedicated to the provision of emergency care in the regional/rural environment.What you'll be doingProvide specialist clinical services for optimal patient outcomes within the Emergency/Critical Care setting including education and training of medical and nursing staff and the junior medical officers within the Emergency/Critical Care Departments.Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Infectious DiseasesIf you are applying for a Category A position, under the NSW Health Policy Directive , evidence of current immunity status that complies with the policy must be supplied.Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available atSelection Criteria * Registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Emergency Physician and Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM).

• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an Emergency/Critical Care Department at the role delineation of the service.
• Demonstrated clinical practice of a high standard and ability to adapt practice in accordance with contemporary evidence based best practice.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
• Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
• Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
• Current drivers license.
