We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated State Facilities Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for the management/governments and delivery of the hard and soft services for the associated state that the State Facilities Manager is responsible for.
This position will take full accountability for the delivery of all Downer related activity within the client premises and the coordination/completion of all assigned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks where applicable to ensure all contractual obligations around safety, performance, quality, communications and other contractual requirements are achieved.
What you'll do
The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
- Promote and maintain a commitment to Zero Harm across all service lines.
- Act as single escalation point for sites whereby Downer does not have a dedicated site representative. Where there is a Downer site representative, the State Facilities Manager will be the second escalation.
- Accountable for the Downer budget for the relevant state they are responsible for.
- Accountable for the CCEP monthly reporting and KPI regime for the relevant state that they are responsible for (Downer Project Status Report)
- Responsible for contract variations and scope management in alignment with CCEP expectations.
What you'll bring
- Previous experience as a facilities manger within a similar environment, with exposure to operations management.
- Experience in the delivery of contract services where subcontractors are used for reactive and planned maintenance.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating the performance of subcontractors and in house staff.
- Technical and commercial competencies in commercial and industrial type facilities.
- Knowledge of OHS regulations and general OH&S induction to building and Construction Industry.
