About the role
We are looking for an experienced and driven State Manager to join the AIRR team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Reporting to the GM, Sales & Operations and based out of Welshpool, WA, the State Manager will be responsible for providing direction and support to our member stores and our warehouse operations. In addition to this, there will be a strong focus on driving growth and efficiency to achieve performance targets in line with AIRR’s national strategy and approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide supportive and clear direction to the warehouse team and member stores
- Coach and build the capability of all employees and provide timely feedback against performance goals
- Contribute to the overall business plan
- Ensure the effective delivery of the national AIRR sales strategy across member stores and warehouse operations
- Review results to identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive and achieve performance outcomes
- Work with Warehouse/Sales Managers and Marketing team to ensure effective execution of catalogues and other marketing campaigns
- Maximise efficiencies through excellent inventory management
- Demonstrated leadership experience at a senior level
- Passionate about coaching and developing others in sales and change management
- Relationship-focused leader with advanced relationship management skills
- Highly developed business acumen with experience in a sales environment
- Result-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure
- Comfortable with regular weekly travel across the state
- Previous experience in a rural retail/ag supply chain environment will be highly regarded
