About the Role
BBS are now recruiting for a State Manager to monitor and drive all construction, operational and commercial aspects of our Queensland business.
Key activities (include but are not limited to the following):
- Overall management and responsibility for QLD Branch
- Operational and Financial management of the Branch
- Formulating and monitoring sales budgets;
- Formulating and driving cost budgets;
- Attracting and securing new business opportunities;
- Driving and nurturing a culture of excellence within the team
- Management of the local Trade and Supplier base;
- Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with state and national WHS requirements and in accordance with state building legislation
Key Performance Indicators:
- Overall profitability of the QLD operations
- Sales, Costs and Overhead budgets
- Lead-time, Customer Service and Employee Engagement KPIs
- Key Client/Contract KPIs
- WHS compliance
Key Professional Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive managerial experience (preferably insurance industry)
- Experience in Insurance and/or domestic and commercial building
- Knowledge of construction estimating
- Detailed project management experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a timely manner
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships within the industry
