We supply multiple retail channels with Eyewear, Headwear and Fashion Accessories. With an experienced management team in place we are able to react quickly to consumer trends and changing market conditions. Qualifications & experience
- Demonstrate a successful field sales role in either Grocery (variety) or Pharmacy retail channels.
- Experience in leading a remote sales team.
- Budget control and a basic understanding of company financials.
- Strong written, verbal and computer skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
- Be self-motivated and proactive – able to create new opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills.
- You will be a team player who leads by example and can work in a fast paced and challenging environment. You have excellent presentation skills and able to present confidently.
Tasks & responsibilities
- State Team Managers are responsible for their own Sales Territory and the total state's commercial success including day to day management of our Territory Managers.
- You will need to identify, provide and implement sales strategies to open new business within the state.
- Meet, report and update the National Sales Manager, Buyer, Finance and Operations team on a weekly basis with any issues or opportunities.
- Proactively plan, execute and review all sales activities by account every quarter.
- Meet with new and existing retail partners to discuss all aspects of the business relationship, including but not limited to, market conditions, category updates, sales performance and negotiate trading terms.
- The role will require a minimum 5 nights travel per month away from home in North Queensland.
