Our long-distance train services provide critical connections to family, friends, holidays, work and medical care. About our Team: As the Station Assistant you will join a team of four to provide exceptional customer service and general cleaning duties at the Proserpine Train Station.

Some of the duties will include: Providing exceptional customer service including handling of customer luggage Operating station machinery and equipment Selling tickets at the station for the Spirit of Queensland General cleaning and maintenance duties of the station and bathroom facilities Reporting any safety concerns to the Station Master Assisting with general garden maintenance For full position responsibilities please read this Position Description.

Hours: This is a permanent full-time position which generally works between the hours of 0330 to 2330. The roster will consist of a variety of start and finish times as well as weekends and public holidays. You can expect to work every second weekend and as this role is in a linked roster you will know your roster four weeks in advance.
