Paspaley is heavily involved in Australian agriculture. Our holdings include a number of historically significant properties in New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
At the Bunnamagoo property located 30 km south of Bathurst NSW, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Station Hand to assist in the overall operations including prime lamb, cattle and cropping.
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the day-to-day activities involved with the livestock enterprises such as feeding, drenching, marking, shearing, and weighing of livestock.
- Actively participate in mustering using four- wheel motor bikes.
- Maintain and assist with the management of the truffles.
- General repairs and maintenance to farm, plant and equipment.
- Operate plant and equipment associated with cropping.
- Application of chemical following the chemical recommendation sheets.
- Assist in the operations involved with the harvesting of crops.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of sheep and cattle husbandry and have their own skilled working dogs. High skill level in 4x4 bike operation is essential. HR licence and experience in farm machinery operation will be an advantage.
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent visa holder with full rights to work and reside in Australia.
