About the role
The primary focus of this role will be the management of the Tool Store you will also be a part of the wider warehouse team and assist with all other warehouse duties as required.
Working a lifestyle roster (5/4 4/5 5/5), 12.5 hr shifts and day shift only, you will be reporting to the Store Supervisor and be part of a team that is committed to developing our people.
Your responsibilities in the Store Person – Tool Store role will include;
Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service to internal stakeholders
- Manage the tooling by utilizing the electronic management system to maintain all relevant test and tag requirements. Liaise with tooling suppliers and repair agents to ensure timely supply and repairs. Comply with all site HSE requirements.
Manage the operation of site Tool Store including; booking in and out tooling, setting up shadow boards and Tool Store in line with 5S principles, managing offsite repairs/replacements, following up outstanding tooling
Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating deliveries with carriers and adhering to schedules and deadlines
Assist the stores personnel to efficiently manage inventory, picking and staging of parts, receipting and stocktaking in order to meet organisational and maintenance targets
General housekeeping of Tool Store, warehouse and laydown area
About you
Experience and knowledge in workshop tooling would be beneficial
Experience within a Store Person role is preferred
High Risk Forklift Licence is essential
A Tertiary Qualification in Warehousing/Procurement would be highly regarded
Exceptional organisational, communication and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is vital
Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety Act, Regulations and where applicable, Codes of Practice
