Redeemer Lutheran College is creating an opportunity for an entry level IT support person to join our team. The position being offered is a permanent full-time (38 hours per week) position.
This is a great opportunity for exposure to several different areas of ICT and different school environments. This position is part of a supportive team working as directed by the ICT Team Leader. Central to the role is effective organisation, the ability to follow directions from the ICT Team Leader and to assist staff at Redeemer or other Lutheran schools, in providing exceptional services.
About the role:
The position includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- User Support and Help Desk (troubleshooting and tracking of successful outcomes);
- Maintain stock levels of computer consumable
- Provide support and guidance for MyRedeemer (Schoolbox) users;
- Liaise with TASS (The Alpha School System) for issues or developments with the software;
- Willingness to contribute to diverse and inclusive communities and to uphold the Christian Ethos of the College.
Skills and Experience:
- Certificate level IT qualifications desirable;
- Experience in an educational environment as advantage;
- Prosses strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills and the ability to deal effectively with all users, including student, staff and the community;
- Must have the ability to effectively manage frequently changing workload and work independently.
- Possess a valid Queensland driver’s licence.
