Store Person - Welshpool

Looking for a warehousing role with a difference? Based in Welshpool – Monday to Friday (no weekends).

We are looking for a full-time, experienced Storeperson who wants to learn new skills. You will work in our Welshpool Paint Powerhouse Branch, Monday to Friday (no weekends!)

You will work in a small close-knit team to ensure our customer orders are prepared, processed, and delivered on time, along with loading and unloading store deliveries – so a valid forklift license or willingness to get one is a must! You will assist in ensuring the warehouse is maintained to the required safety standards and follow all PPG’s EHS requirements.  You will have an opportunity to collaborate with business stakeholders to help improve warehouse processes, so we do better today than yesterday – everyday. 

As a small team, you will be expected to assist in other Branch roles as required, including answering phones, serving customers at the front counter, and processing customer orders.

• General warehousing skills – experienced.
• Confident using computers (SAP experience an advantage).
• A valid forklift license or willingness to get one is essential.
• Ideally worked in a trade desk/trade warehouse environment.
• Excellent verbal communication & time management.
• Able to manage complexity, with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.

As a global paint company, you will have the ability to upskill - learning about paint, mixing paint, and colour matching. After you master the warehouse requirements, you will be trained in color mixing, which involves creating specialized colours for our customers. This is an integral role in our business and once trained, you will work between our warehouse and our colour mixing/tint area.
