Custom Quip Engineering (CQE) is a trusted West Australian family-owned business specialising in the design & manufacture of quality transport equipment and associated services.
CQE are looking for an experienced Store Person to join the CQE team, at our centrally located, purpose-built facility located in Kenwick W.A.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Attend to tradesperson service counter, interpreting and supplying required parts.
- Processing of goods inwards and outwards to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles - small boxes to pallets.
- Inventory management functions, to ensure accurate stock control - software and physical.
- Picking and packing duties - from light componentry kitting to production fitting pallet crates.
- Undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the job and assist with any other duties as and when required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience working within a store undertaking key functions (as per above ‘job tasks and responsibilities’.
- Good knowledge of general mechanical componentry i.e. nuts/bolts, fittings (hydraulic, air etc.), tools, PPE and consumables etc.
- *Direct industry experience within the road transport equipment (or likeable industry), an advantage. Workshop or warehouse/supplier.
- General experience and proficiency in ERP software, Microsoft Navision an advantage.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, where required.
- Out of the box thinker with the ability to learn and develop new skills.
- Contribute to a healthy, safe and "can do" work environment.
- **Must have forklift license and c class license.
