Hammersmith is a family-owned manufacturing business that supplies products to the staircase, building, and furniture industries. We operate a small storefront in Brompton, but distribute our products nationally through our e-commerce site & trade/wholesale network.
About The Role
We are currently seeking a hardworking, committed person to join our warehouse as a storeperson. We are looking for somebody to work 7am to 3:45pm Monday-Thursday and 7am-12pm on Fridays, but hours would be negotiable for the right applicant!
On-the-job training will be provided, so no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders;
- Creating freight dockets;
- Trade counter sales/customer service;
- General cleaning/maintenance of the store;
- Receiving incoming deliveries.
Requirements:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Team player;
- Ability to work unsupervised;
- Forklift license (advantageous, but not necessary);
- Willingness to learn;
- Able to follow instructions.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or retail environment would be looked upon favorably but is not necessary.
