As an experienced Storeperson you will love this diverse role and relish the opportunity to work with new colleagues in a brand new dedicated Parts warehouse at Ravenhall.
In your new role you’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team with strong leadership, focused on safety and excellence in all that they do.
From a day to day perspective you'd be undertaking the following:
- Unload and load transportation vehicles/ carriers/ shipping containers
- Receive, check, examine, and store inventory in accordance with procedures and protocols
- Pick, check, and pack stock/ sales orders for outbound transit/ delivery (with a focus on minimising part damage and freight costs)
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and /or stocktakes
- Planning and completing stock movements to maximise warehouse storage
- Maintain records and undertake reporting as well as operation of a warehouse freight management system
- Undertaking a wide range of warehouse maintenance duties
- Focussing on safety in all that you do

To be successful your experience and background would look something like:
- MHE – Current valid Work Safe Forklift Driver and Stock Picker License
- Recent Storeperson employment experience in a warehousing and distribution environment, (desirable is a particular focus on handling service parts)
- Sound knowledge of warehousing and distribution practices
- Basic understanding of service parts. That is, a basic level of mechanical knowledge (desirable)
- Experience safely using basic hand and power tools
- Experience using an RF scanner equipment
- Capable of undertaking manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending, etc
- Proven organisational skills and attention to detail
- Well developed conceptual and practical problem solving skill
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to complete tasks safely and in accordance with OHS, COR relevant laws, policy and procedures
- Intermediate computing skills, including warehouse management system preferably SAP experience (WMS) (desirable)
