What You Will Be Doing
Peninsula Health's Surgical Services Suite and Frankston Public Surgical Centre both have exciting opportunities for well motivated persons with experience in the ordering and supply of inventory for our busy services.
The Inventory Support role is an integral and valued member of the wider Surgical Services Suite and CSSD teams, while at Frankston Public Surgical Centre the role also extends across all areas of the campus. The Inventory Support role is responsible for assisting the Inventory Coordinator through monitoring, ordering and unpacking of instruments, stock and equipment for the Surgical Services Suite at the Frankston Main Campus and/or Frankston Public Surgical Centre from multiple storerooms that comply with recommended standards.
The Inventory Support role sits under the day-to-day supervision of Inventory Coordinator at each Campus.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Competent computer skills including the ability to use computerised inventory systems
• Accepts responsibility for own actions
• Promptly follows through on enquiries
• Completed certificate in storage and handling of sterile stock
