About the job:
At SA Water we are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Architect to join our Technology Business Group. As the Strategic Business Architect, you will be responsible for developing target state architecture and strategy for our Strategic Capability Program. You will ensure that our program of work is aligned with our target state and that our organisation's future needs are met efficiently, sustainably, and adaptably.
Your responsibilities for this opportunity include:
- Establishing and maintaining the Enterprise Architecture framework, principles, and standards
- Ensure strategic plans and strategies are translated into technology roadmaps and digital strategies
- Promote understanding of technical interdependencies and linkages associated with our digital plans
- Engage stakeholders in understanding and shaping the future direction of the organisation
- Translate business strategy into architectural plans for the Technology Delivery team
- Chair the Architecture Governance Committee and Design Authority
- Ensure adherence to Technology strategy, processes, architectural principles, and standards in project delivery and solution development
- Develop and communicate Enterprise Architecture models for business, information, applications, and technology
- Provide guidance to the Solution Architecture team to ensure strategic outcomes and customer goals are met
- Offer expert advice and guidance to Technology teams and business stakeholders
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology, business, or computer science
- TOGAF certification
- Understanding of the architecture discipline, architecture frameworks, process, linkage to the business, methods of communication, architectural methodologies, tools and notations, governance, reference architectures, information and communication technologies, and business application patterns.
- Experience in developing and presenting technology strategies and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Ability to manage stakeholder and team member expectations
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and issue resolution and management
