This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing key strategic initiatives within our organisation. The key focus for this role would be supporting the General Manager on the implementation of strategic initiatives, while collaborating closely with various departments to drive impactful outcomes.Duties
- Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and improvement opportunities.
- Develop models to assist in the assessment of the value of potential opportunities.
- Assess upcoming opportunities and draft or provide input into business cases, and as required support the business in the preparation of business cases.
- Use the pricing model to undertake analysis in relation to Viterra’s storage and handling pricing and provide annual recommendations on Viterra’s proposed fee structure.
- Provide support and recommendations in relation to non-grain, spot business and customer related pricing opportunities.
- Three to five years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a related industry
- Knowledge of the agricultural industry will be beneficial
- Degree in Business/ Commerce / Finance or similar will be well regarded
- Strong commercial acumen and experience developing robust analytical models
- Sound knowledge of technology to support business and delivery of role
