The Company
Established in the early 1990's in Melbourne, this structural and civil engineering specialist consultancy has grown from it's original founding director to now boasting 70 people across both Victoria and Sydney.
They entered the Sydney market 5 years ago and in that time they have grown steadily and are currently a team of 10 people. Their Sydney office is predominantly structural focused, although they do offer civil engineering solutions via their Sydney and Melbourne teams.
They deliver a range of permanent building structures that includes residential, commercial, industrial, aged care and health care with project ranging in size up to $500m.
They have a diverse and inclusive office based in the heart of the CBD with options for flexible working.
The Role
They are extremely busy and there is a clear business plan that involves heavy investment in their Sydney office and they are looking to double in size over the next 12 months.
As the first part of this growth, they are seeking a talented Structural Engineer who is looking for a long-term career within a consultancy that can offer extensive growth and development opportunities.
The Responsibilities
You will be afforded responsibilities to take the lead on major projects that you perhaps would not be exposed to with other consultancies. It's therefore an ideal opportunity to learn from industry leaders and to fast-track your career.
You will work on a wide range of building types and as you experience increases, so will your responsibilities.
The Requirements
This is a rewarding role where you will receive mentoring, training, development. In return, you will be able to demonstrate:

• 2-4 years of experience working as a Structural Design Engineer for an engineering design consultancy based in NSW
• Experience of utilising relevant design software such as ETABS, RAPT and RAM
• Be driven and motivated to learn and to take on additional responsibilities
• Full working rights in Australia
