The Opportunity
With contracts with some of the world's largest mining companies and port authorities, this could be the ideal opening to get your foot in the door in the mining industry or get further established with mines and ports projects.
- Recent graduate Structural Engineers 0-3 years exp.
- Intermediate Structural Engineers 4-8 years exp.
Typical structures include conveyors, transfer towers, surge bins, bridges, offshore/marine structures, shiploaders, stackers/reclaimers & dump stations.
About You
You must be energetic and keen to be actively involved in site inspection and some design for major materials handling structures. Depending on your experience level, the key prerequisites are:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (EA recognised)
- Structural steel & concrete design experience
- Capacity for Site inspection work
- Some knowledge of steel, concrete, wind & materials handling codes
- Strong verbal, interpersonal & report-writing skills
- Strong commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and conscientious
- A positive & proactive attitude to work with a strong work ethic
- Hold a current drivers licence
