Form of workWilliams River Steel is a well-respected Building Company operating for over 38 years with our Head Office at Tomago and offices along the east coast.
Due to the number of projects along the east coast we are looking to recruit a full time Structural Steel Detailer with Pre-cast Panel Detailing experience to join our team.
The applicant will work collaboratively with our detailing team in preparing workshop drawings taken from the detailed models prepared by senior staff.
For the position you will require the following:
- Relevant CAD drafting qualification.
- 3 years relevant experience min.
- Excellent software knowledge in TEKLA
- Ability to work well with other team members
- Ability to work independently.
- Driven, and a keen eye for detail.
- Sound knowledge of Relevant Australian Standards
- Currently an Australian citizen or working towards an Australian citizenship
- Must have Structural Steel detailing experience relative to industrial commercial construction
- Excellent software knowledge in TEKLA or Autocad
- Pre-cast Panel detailing experience relative to industrial commercial construction preferred but not essential
We are looking to source a long term staff member and in turn are prepared to spend the time with them teaching them our specialised techniques.
