Position Overview

As the Student Experience Officer, you'll play a crucial role in creating a vibrant and supportive learning environment. We're looking for someone with exceptional organisational skills, a knack for customer service, and a drive to grow within the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

Key Responsibilities
Student Sales and Engagement:
- Be the face of Enable College, delivering outstanding customer service to current and prospective students.
- Innovate and implement strategies to boost student engagement and satisfaction.
- Organise orientation programs and events that foster a strong sense of community.
- Assess students' English proficiency and training suitability.
Financial Management and Administrative Operations:
- Manage accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reconciliations with precision.
- Oversee credit insurance and third-party payment platforms to ensure smooth operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with government portals for regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate your business administration skills.
Supplier Management and Operational Support:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party suppliers.
- Provide IT support and coordinate with specialists for technical issues.
- Handle executive administration duties for the Managing Director.
- Support the Co-Ordinator team with various administrative tasks.
Marketing and Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the admissions team to drive student enrolment.
- Conduct engaging sessions to showcase Enable College’s offerings.
- Assist in creating and executing impactful marketing campaigns.
Trainer and Assessor/Training Support:
- Ensure trainers have all necessary documentation and materials for their sessions.
- Coordinate logistics for training venues and travel.
- Assist with daily setup and pack-up of training materials.
General Student Administration:
- Utilise AXcelerate for tasks such as course setup, data entry, and reporting.
- Manage student inquiries and provide troubleshooting support.
- Resolve student issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in the VET sector (highly desirable).
- Proficiency with AXcelerate (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in financial management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Strong IT aptitude and basic technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Previous experience in student services, admissions, sales, or marketing (highly desirable).
- Professional presentation and demeanour.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Certificate III in Business Administration.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Certificate IV in Mental Health (highly desirable).
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
