The Adelaide Education Group (AEG) is a multi-sectored and dynamic education consortium based in South Australia and delivers government accredited and non-award courses from Primary to Postgraduate levels for local and overseas students. AEG comprises the Adelaide International School (AIS), Adelaide Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT), Adelaide Institute of Higher Education (AIHE), and Adelaide Research Institute (ARI).
Working with all stakeholders across the group, you will assist the organisation in achieving student growth, profitability and international standing. A key focus is to attract prospective students locally and abroad to AEG’s growing suite of products that range from school programs through to postgraduate studies.
Responsibilities:
- Represent AEG in identified recruitment, school/university, and agent events.
- Provide meaningful advice to potential students recommending programs and pathways most advantageous to them and helping with the admission requirements.
- Cultivate AEG’s current agents providing regular updates on AEG’s products and admission requirements.
- Ensure continuing compliance with the requirements of the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students (National Code) 2018 and maintain current information in AEG’s agent database.
- Work with AEG’s Admissions team, providing timely and complete information to meet turnaround targets for issuance of Offer Letters and Confirmations of Enrolment.
- Provide market feedback to the Marketing and Recruitment team for calibration of recruitment strategies and marketing collaterals.
- Assist the Campus Coordinator at the Melbourne Campus in responding to agents, students, and applicants’ queries.
Essential:
- At least three years’ experience in Student Recruitment.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, international studies, or business.
- Intermediate level experience in MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the policy guidelines set by the Australian Department of Home Affairs and legislative and regulatory requirements.
Desirable:
- Experience working within the international higher education sector, Registered Training Organization (RTO), and school setting environment will be highly regarded.
- Degree or extensive experience in a similar role.
ESSENTIAL CLEARANCES AND CHECKS
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current a Working with Children Check (WWCC) with the Victorian Government, and a National Police Clearance, or be prepared to undertake both and provide those clearances.
SUMMARY
The Student Recruitment Officer works with the Adelaide Education Group’s recruitment team to implement the Group’s marketing and recruitment strategies and meet Student Recruitment targets of the three Institutes: Adelaide Institute of Higher Education, Adelaide Institute for Business and Technology, and Adelaide International School.
The remuneration is competitive and will be dependent upon the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.
