The Ruby Institute, (RTO No. 45148 / CRICOS Code 03723G), is an established and growing RTO operating from first class premises in the Melbourne CBD (refer www.ruby.vic.edu.au). The Institute has excellent resources and learner management and support systems, and the successful candidate will work in a happy environment with experienced and helpful staff.
The Institute wishes to employ a suitably experienced Student Services Officer
This is a permanent position, offering a commensurate salary (including all regulatory benefits). The working hours are 9.00 to 5.30, Monday to Friday with breaks, and excluding public holidays.
The successful candidate must:
- Have recent experience working with international students in an administrative and student service role in a CRICOS registered RTO.
- Have recent experience in the use of Learner Management Systems, (such as Moodle), and Student Management Systems (such as Wisenet), including the ability to upload and extract data.
- Have a reasonable understanding of the regulations relating to the requirements for international students and the management responsibilities of Registered Training Organisations
- Have the ability to maintain accurate and clear records.
- Be accomplished in using digital communication technologies to facilitate effective internal and external communication.
- Have the ability to work harmoniously with other members of the Ruby team, and be committed to contributing continuous improvement practices to the organisation.
- Have personal attributes that stimulate student engagement, problem resolution and participation in their studies.
