- Mentoring - act as a role model for students and fostering support relationships among students
- Community development - collaborate with school-based support staff, community-based youth organisations, and networks to access resources and support services for students
South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organization dedicated to supporting disadvantaged individuals of all backgrounds and ages. We offer a range of services, including Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, Disability Services, and our Gumnut Place Social Enterprise. Our teams operate from Kingaroy, Wondai, and Murgon, providing support throughout the South Burnett area.
About the PositionStudent Wellbeing Officer Services support the general wellbeing of students, parents and staff, by providing an additional adult role model in the school who can enhance engagement with the broader community.
Candidate ProfileWe are seeking a highly motivated individual with:
- Certificate IV (or higher) in Youth Work, Pastoral Care (or equivalent)
- Working with Children Blue Card
- Ability to meet and maintain any legislative benchmark requirements and government or organisational mandates
This position offers a salary of Level 2 of the Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services Industry Award ($40.26 per hour) + salary packaging.
