Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a International Student Mobility Officer to join International, International Portfolio, Chancellery Division.
An opportunity exists to join the International Relations team and support QUT’s inbound and outbound Student Mobility program. The position involves processing study applications and credit arrangements, promotional activities and presentations, assisting students with queries and providing an interface with QUT administration. What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a degree, or completion of an associate diploma with at least two years subsequent relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including experience liaising with a diverse range of clients to provide accurate advice and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise competing tasks and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to use a large corporate computer system including inputting, accessing and extracting data, combined with expertise in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively as a member of a team, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives within the International Relations team.
