Our client is seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to develop and oversee processes, policies and frameworks for effective data management. Our client is a growing organisation based in Brisbane CBD, dedicated to establishing and managing community initiatives. Their Data Governance Specialist role will allow the successful candidate the following:
- Opportunity to shape enterprise-wide data management strategies;
- Lead transformative data governance initiatives; and
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Establish and operate an enterprise-wide Data Management strategy, including data governance, data quality, metadata management and data security;
- Oversee the development and maintenance of a data quality programme, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency of data assets;
- Define and manage metadata standards and processes to facilitate data documentation and accessibility;
- Develop and implement data security policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance;
- Drive capability and data maturity uplift through effective communication and training; and
- Coordinate resolution of compliance-related data incidents and implementation of controls.
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
Location: Brisbane CBD, Queensland
