Kim Pearson Interior Design is a busy, professional award-winning boutique interior design practice based in Claremont. We specialise in designing and creating bespoke high-end residential projects across Australia for over 25 years.  They are seeking a Studio & Logistics Coordinator to join the team on a Full Time basis.

The Role 

As the Studio & Logistics Coordinator you will work directly with the Director and alongside the design team providing a high level of support and assistance across all facets of the business. 

We're seeking a highly experienced, proactive and responsible individual who is ready to contribute to diverse daily operations in a friendly and hardworking office. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Providing executive support to the Director on all business-related tasks. 
  • Responsible for the smooth operations and administration of our busy and dynamic studio ensuring processes are followed, in pursuit of continuous improvement.
  • Effectively facilitate and manage the administration and logistics of each project from conception to completion, including:
    • requests and compilation of accurate project costings in readiness for formal quotations
    • highly accurate data entry
    • checking and placing orders, undertaking all scheduling in collaboration with the design team.  
  • Coordinate scheduling and timelines for all projects in collaboration with the design team including diary management.
  • Lead the onboarding of new projects in collaboration with the Director. 
  • Liaise with existing and prospective clients, suppliers, and other key stakeholders. 
  • Assist the design team with client presentations including producing and maintaining relevant documentation. 
  • Manage HR procedures and scheduling of personnel.
  • Coordinate and attend shoots, liaise with media and other specialist consultants, organise staff events and travel and attend industry events and staff events as required. 
     

Skills & Experience:

  • 3-4 Years’ + experience in a similar role (required).  
  • Experience working within Interior Design or related industries (desirable).
  • Exceptional customer service skills, personalised to our high-end clients and professional stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, demonstrated by specific examples.
  • Strong administrative skills, with exemplary time management and organisational skills. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and process. 
  • Exceptional leadership (self and others), communication (written and verbal), and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexible, resourceful and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to meet critical deadlines. 
  • Approachable, empathetic and friendly. 
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously.
  • Proficient in MacOS, Microsoft Office Suite and related software.  
     

Desirable Qualifications

  • Qualification in Management, Project Management or a similar field, or substantial demonstrated experience; 
    and/or
  • Tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Architecture or similar field, with proven project management and leadership experience.
