Our Lihir operation in Shutdown Management is now recruiting for the position of Superintendent – Grinding & Flotation Shutdowns.
As a Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of preparation, planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout for major planned shutdowns in the Grinding & Flotation areas. Your proactive approach will contribute to achieving the shutdown goals of safety, quality, schedule, and cost. By working collaboratively with all other shutdown areas, you will ensure an integrated and efficient process.
Your expertise and technical knowledge will be demonstrated through efficient shutdown logistics management, comprehensive short-term shutdown oversight and contribution to shutdown planning and improvement around in Grinding and Flotation section.
The preferred candidate should possess a tertiary qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Asset Management, or a relevant trade certificate. Additionally, the role requires the development of team members through regular feedback, coaching, and formal training, making a Certificate in Workplace Assessment and Training or similar qualifications desirable.
