Role Overview:
As the Superintendent OPF Mechanical Maintenance, you'll oversee all aspects of planned maintenance and implement best-in-class breakdown techniques. A steadfast commitment to risk reduction will underline your leadership, ensuring the team prioritizes safety without compromise on project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion safety accountability and spearhead root cause analysis investigations to proactively prevent or mitigate risks.
- Efficiently oversee the execution of fixed plant Mechanical Maintenance, ensuring high-quality maintenance activities are carried out safely, minimizing production impacts.
- Cultivate and lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary team, driving them to achieve targets while adhering to stringent safety protocols.
- Pave the way for innovation and continuous improvement strategies, revolutionizing maintenance methodologies for optimal efficiency.
- Proven track record in steering large multi-disciplinary teams to achieve targets within stringent safety frameworks.
- Robust understanding and experience or iron ore fixed plant mine operations is essential
- Demonstrated tenure in senior leadership roles within the mining industry or similar heavy industries.
- Essential expertise in financial management and project oversight.
