About the Role
We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team working from our Head Office in West Perth and lead the charge in Business Development for a diverse group of businesses under our company umbrella. As a pivotal member reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, nurturing existing relationships and forging new ones within our industry.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
- Holistic Business Growth: Take charge of Business Development for our group of businesses, ensuring synergy and maximising opportunities across the board.
- Client Cultivation: Seek out potential clients and projects while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Tender Development: Drive tendering opportunities and foster client relationships within our core business sectors.
- Strategic Networking: Maintain a robust register of contacts and companies, ensuring our presence on key tender lists.
- Innovation and Diversification: Explore and diversify our tender offerings to meet evolving market demands.
- Documentation Mastery: Complete Expressions of Interest and secure pre-qualifications for selective clients.
Skills & Experience
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets and drive group growth.
- Client Relationship Mastery: Build and sustain strong client connections, delivering top-notch service tailored to their needs.
- Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify lucrative business opportunities.
- Construction Industry Expertise: Proven experience in the construction industry is essential.
- Sales Success: Demonstrate a track record of driving sales and exceeding revenue targets.
- Time Management and Leadership: Possess excellent time management skills and effective leadership capabilities.
- Communication and Negotiation Prowess: Excel in communication and negotiation, key skills for fostering fruitful relationships.
