Responsibilities
- Provide geotechnical input for mining and mine planning processes.
- Maintain and update the Ground Control Management Plan.
- Design geotechnical stope and development support.
- Analyze and evaluate underground stability monitoring systems.
- Manage ground support projects, including costing and budgeting.
- Conduct hydrogeological work and analyze technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Generate regular geotechnical reports and uphold health and safety standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in underground mining, with a focus on rock mechanics.
- Proficiency in geotechnical design software.
- Strong understanding of mine layouts and ground control principles.
