At Sunshine Family Support, we're more than just a team. We're a family, and we're currently looking for a committed professional to join us. A significant part of our mission is to work with children, young people, and their families, empowering them to live their lives to the fullest.
About You:
- Availability: You're available for early mornings, afternoons, and some weekends. Starting off on 15-20 hours with the potential to increase for the right person.
- Experience: You have extensive experience working with children and young people, especially those with challenging behaviours (1+ years preferred). You're patient, kind, and know how to work effectively with clients with Autism, ADHD, PDA and challenging behaviours.
- Skills: You're organised, proactive, and have advanced interpersonal skills.
Qualifications (Completed or In Progress):
- Early Childhood Qualification
- Individual Support Qualification
- Community Services Qualification or similar
Other Requirements (Must have or willing to obtain):
- Blue Card
- Police check or NDIS Worker Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Driver's license and a reliable, safe vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Covid Vaccination (preferred)
