Junior Supervisor and Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) for Pakenham!
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Management
Maintain a complete knowledge of SOPs.
Ensure that all daily and weekly reporting and documentation is completed.
Ensure all staff is trained to standards.
Identify opportunities for increasing sales and implement or execute actions to drive increased sales.
Leadership
Manage staff in accordance with El Jannah’s policies and procedures.
Lead a team of motivated and engaged staff, passionate about comradery, food quality and great customer service.
Communicate clearly and effectively.
Actively contribute to team activities.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure HR policies and procedures are complied with.
Ensure all WH&S policies and procedures are followed.
Ensure the correct use and maintenance of all equipment in accordance with El Jannah’s requirements and the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Supervise the use and maintenance of all equipment to minimise repair needs and extend the usable life of the equipment.
Identify, prevent and report any workplace hazards, including unsafe work practices and emergency procedures.
Report all injuries and incidents to management as they occur.
Ensure immigration and employment law is adhered to at all times.
People Development
Develop all staff to ensure that vacancies in the store can be effectively filled as they occur.
Maintain and comply with succession plans.
Follow bench planning and succession plans established across all positions to support long-term stores and area stability.
Business Results
Meet Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Cost of labour (COL) and Operating Cost targets as set by HO.
Ensure that cash management policies and procedures are followed.
Accurately and promptly complete weekly inventory procedures and end of week reports.
Monitor stock deliveries to ensure they are in line with orders and invoices (e.g. weights, case counts, quality and yields).

Comply with all WHS legislation, including reporting any incident or hazards as they have occurred.
Foster productive relationships with all staff and key stakeholders at all levels.

Lead a customer-oriented team; take appropriate action when presented with feedback from customers and/or feedback affecting the customer experience.
Ensure mandatory checklists are completed by relevant staff at all times.
Essential Requirements & Behaviours.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completed or willing to undertake Food Safety Supervisor course
- Proven experience in a management role(s) in the hospitality industry
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Understanding of written operational and financial reports
- High level people management and conflict resolution skills
- Personable and approachable disposition
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commercial cooking and food safety
- Ability and willingness to personally complete all store tasks as required
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Ability to commute/relocate: Willing to travel to Melbourne for 6 weeks for training purposes (Required)
Junior Supervisor: Minimum of 1-2 years in QSR/Hospitality Industry
Assistant Restaurant Management: Minimum of 3 Years Management experience
Work Authorisation: Full-Time Working Rights
