Our Accounting team plays an integral role in providing valuable decision-making support across a range of complex finance and business activities. You will mainly be responsible for supervising the finance and accounting team that provides support to at least two of our divisions across multiple countries while contributing to continuous improvement in the quality and effectiveness of financial support as we continue to enhance our role as a trusted business partner.
This position reports to the AustralasiaFinance & Accounting Senior Manager and will be offered on a Monday to Friday roster based at our Jandakot, WA office.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising a small team of accountants that support operational teams
- Responsible for execution, review, and accuracy of financial close
- Develop and oversee complex financial modelling & report development
- Review and oversee the budgeting and forecasting process
- Identify and perform ongoing process improvement
- Interpreting & applying company policy, controls, and accounting principles
Role Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce/Finance/Business or similar degree
- Completion of CA/CPA studies
- 7+ years’ experience working in financial or management accounting
- Experience in supervising a team of accountants
- Strong analytical skills and reporting from an ERP system
- Self-motivated with good relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- Demonstrable commercial and time management skills
- Experience reading and interpreting contracts
- Competent in US GAAP and SOX requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
