Plantech began operation in 1996 as a part time one person horticultural service business and has grown into a 16 person (full time equivalent), quickly expanding commercial Grounds Maintenance and landscaping operation.
Our intention is to consistently present a quality service which is backed by a motivated and high performing employee base. Satisfying that philosophy has presented an opportunity for a Gardener. This position has great potential for the successful applicant.
Your application should demonstrate examples of:
- experience in the Horticultural/Gardening industry including; irrigation; plant care; pesticide and disease management;
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to change
- Computer literacy
- Effective communication skills
- Positive attitude towards work
Your job responsibilities will include:
- Lawn, garden, and plant care
- Hard and soft landscaping
- Safety Management
- Time management
- Ensuring our service is of a high quality
- Correct application of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers
- Reticulation installation and repair
- Plant and turf management
- Machinery operation, care, and maintenance
- Competent with cylinder mowers, hedgers and ride on machinery
