Council is currently seeking applications for a Supervisor within the Parks section. The Supervisor will assist with the supervision of teams that maintain the Shire’s parks, gardens, cemeteries, reserves, streetscapes and public facilities.
About the role:
We’re looking for someone with exceptional leadership, problem solving and time management skills. We’re also looking for someone with the skills to motivate and develop employees.
These will be essential to the supervision of daily maintenance activities and ensure teams achieve standards set in the Burdekin Shire Council Parks Maintenance Service Levels Manual.
The Supervisor will need to show sound judgment in making decisions regarding work conditions and processes, also ensuring the efficient use of Council materials, plant and labour. The Supervisor will also be required to develop, implement and review work procedures, including risk assessments and safe work method statements.

The applicable salary is to a ceiling of Level 4 ($90,633pa) with the commencing salary dependant upon the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
