As a key support to the Business Manager, you'll bring industry expertise and strong leadership skills to the forefront. This role involves leading a dedicated team, coordinating operations, managing inventory, and contributing to the ongoing success at MM Electrical Katherine.

Specific responsibilities will include:
- Assist the manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the electrical department
- Support in the recruitment, training, and development of team members
- Interact and build valued relationships with clients, customers, suppliers while addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Business Manager to develop sales strategies and plans
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Business Manager
- Providing outstanding customer service to inbound sales such as leads, requests and enquiries.
- Delivering exceptional levels of customer service and advice with your industry expertise and business knowledge
- Stock control including unloading deliveries, re-stocking shelves and picking + packing orders
- Support training initiatives for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Oversee and manage inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed
- Assist in budget development and forecasting

What you’ll need to succeed
- You’re an upbeat and personable professional with prior experience working in a sales or customer facing role.
- You have excellent communication skills and your ability to build strong relationships and establish rapport is second to none.
- You have a current drivers license (essential).
- You have a high level of initiative and self-confidence – you are always prepared to jump in to do what it takes for the team to succeed.
- You are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing the best solutions for your customers.
- Strong attention to detail and business acumen
