Supply Chain Analyst

We are searching for an experienced Supply Chain Analyst at our Melbourne Airport facility. To support Quickstep Aerospace Services with the ongoing improvement management of inventory system by developing and managing the critical inventory control processes and supporting the Manager of Logistics and Business Performance with the assets and inventory reports and analysis to support both operational plans and strategic goals.

Snapshot of the role:

• Support Quickstep Aerospace Services for all Supply Chain requirements which includes assessments, communications, and dissemination.
• Support the analysis and design process for timely compilation of logistics supply business activities
• Identify opportunities through effective repair acquittal and support the implementation of improved supply utilisation to ensure both the business and customers achieve optimised performance
• Establish and support procedures to provide enhanced stock management and customer service.
• Support and conduct purchase orders and stocktake
• Support sound methods of performance management (KPIs) for Quickstep Aerospace Services to measure Supply Chain performance
• Support the continuous improvement programme and support projects in accordance with the corporate project management methodology

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience related to inventory optimisation or in a similar inventory role
• Sound exposure and understanding of stock and inventory processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with outstanding attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated and driven to achieve both personal and organisational goals
• Strong customer service focused
