The Opportunity

The primary focus of this role will be to build an efficient Supply Chain and Logistics function at Premcar, including inventory management. The role requires experience in the creation and implementation of best practice Supply Chain and Logistics processes and systems to support a growing business. Leading a small team, this role is an excellent opportunity for somebody who wants to make their mark in evolving a tailored and future-focussed Supply Chain and Logistics solution, including scalability of systems to support international expansion.

Selection Criteria

Education, skills, experience

To be considered for the position, candidates will need to demonstrate

• at least 10 years of Supply Chain, logistics and inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment
• experience in successfully implementing ERP/MPR systems, stock tracking, barcoding etc
• significant achievements in process enhancement and continuous improvement 
• significant achievements in supplier management and issue resolution 
• tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain preferable, or other relevant discipline
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• At least 5 years team leadership experience
