The Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this is an administration role, supporting import shipments and provision of general support to the wider Customer Service and Logistics Team. This is a full-time temporary position, with the opportunity to go permanent.Your day to day!
- Overseeing the administration that goes with import shipments.
- Preparation, processing and sourcing of import documentation as required.
- Liaise with external suppliers and local vendors to ensure the timely shipment, clearance, release, transportation and goods receipt of imported goods.
- Shipping documentation management and timely updating of ERP (SAP) system with shipping updates and goods receipts.
- Assisting customer service and logistics team members as required in other tasks.
- A degree in Business, Logistics, Supply chain (highly regarded)
- Strong computer skills with Excel and Word
- Familiar with import / shipping advantage
- Knowledge of ERP (SAP) advantage
- Administration savvy with attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and a high level of attention to detail
- Solid communication skills and keen attitude!
