We are currently recruiting experienced Supply Chain specialist for a rail client who specialises in manufacture of rail products, and maintenance of locomotives.
Location- Maitland, NSW
Duration- Permanent
Salary- $80,000 - $90,000 + Super
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor functions relating to supply, procurement and logistics planning
- Ensure stock holdings meet operational requirements
- Negotiation of contracts for pricing / supply
- Request quotes and raise purchase orders to acquire materials to support operations
- Stocktake and replenishment of materials using MRP
- Resolve invoice queries
- Weekly + monthly reporting
- Ensure correct information data is reflected in the ERP system
- Identify material requirements
Required Experience
- Forklift licence
- Experience in similar role such as inventory management / Supply Chain / logistics support
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Qualifications in Supply Chain management / logistics desirable
- Understanding of purchasing, inventory and warehousing
