Role Overview
As the Freight Coordinator, you will be reporting to the Team Leader. You will be responsible for supporting and understanding the end to end functions of Domestic Freight Resolution, specifically understanding and using SAP and having intermediate excel; pivot tables and v-lookups. Your exceptional logistical administration skills, proactive work ethic and keen eye for detail will see you excel greatly in this 6-month contract role and can go perm. A typical day will see you maintaining and settling invoices, investigating and raising claims, assisting with monthly carrier domestic freight claims and handling various other administrative duties in relation to logistics.
Responsibilities
- Invoice settlement: review, settle and maintain invoice logs through SAP; Vendor Invoice Management System (also known as VIM Processing).
- Assisting in investing and raising claims
- Assisting with monthly carrier domestic freight statements and reconciliations
- Assisting with discrepancies
- Raising claims
- Data entry through SAP and VIM processing (in depth understanding).
- Various ad- hoc logistics duties
- Supporting the team and team leaders in an efficient and professional manner
Candidate Profile
As the Freight Coordinator, you will demonstrate high levels of reliability and integrity. The successful candidate ideally has experience within a domestic freight and logistics environment. You must have proven experience using SAP system skills VIM for accounts/invoice reconciliations. You are a natural team player who thrives working in a busy environment. Your keen eye for detail combined with your outstanding communication skills and drive will see you make this role your own. You are organised, proactive and take initiative and are immediately available to commit to your next long-term role.
