We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Planning Manager, this role is pivotal in managing the supply and availability of materials essential for our network infrastructure installations. The Demand Planner will collaborate closely with various departments to support our Networks line business and customer-facing units.
The day to day
- Develop and implement best-in-class demand planning methods to ensure optimal material supply with minimal working capital and operational cost.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to establish a consensus on supply requirements.
- Identify alternatives to purchasing new inventory and explore ways to utilise existing inventory efficiently.
- Lead and analyze cost-saving initiatives to support operational efficiency.
- Measure and improve both network and supplier performance in forecasting, planning, and material supply.
- Analyze technology introduction trends and incorporate them into the demand plan effectively.
- Implement exception-based management processes to enhance productivity and accuracy continuously.
- Optimize inventory while maintaining high material availability.
- Participate in developing and implementing strategies in response to rapid network or technology changes.
Why you are our next Demand Planner?
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Inventory Management, MRP, Planning & Forecasting.
- Proficient in forecast analysis and strong analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience with systems for material management and inventory planing such as SAP.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across organisational levels and departments.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work autonomously within Supply Chain guidelines.
- Highly organised with excellent administrative skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-performing team culture and support change initiatives willingly.
