About the role
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the Gewürzhaus Supply Chain, logistics strategy and operations in order to maximise process efficiency, productivity and costs whilst delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Reporting directly to our CEO the key responsibilities of the position include;
- Providing strong leadership and proactively managing the Supply Chain team through clear direction, oversight, support and development.
- Managing the inventory planning cycle and process to ensure sufficient supply on time to meet demand withing agreed purchasing budgets.
- Sourcing new and managing existing external manufacturing partners, to ensure DIFOT and quality standards are achieved.
- Developing, documenting, and managing policy and procedures to ensure efficiency, continuity and ease of knowledge transfer.
- Building strategic relationships that align with business strategy, customer needs, product and financial plans.
- Working collaboratively with store teams on supply, logistics and allocations related matters
- Actively negotiate with all suppliers and vendors to improve costing and profit margins, including unit pricing, lead time, and payment terms
- Manage inventory levels and turn within agreed budgets
- Ensure inventory accuracy of 98% or higher

Who we are looking for
- Demonstrated experience as a Supply Chain Manager within a fast-moving retail business.
- Strong track record in data analysis in a production environment and understanding of retail operations and metrics.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and pragmatic problem-solving skill and an ability to translate those into strategic plans, negotiations and outcomes.
- Motivated, confident self-starter with a passion for Supply Chain management and process improvement.
- Process engineering experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel in particular.
- Strong leadership skill, ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
