Privately owned food exporter located in Frenchs Forest is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and oversee the logistics team. Whilst the role is full-time there is also an offering of flexibility around a shorter working day.
To be an eligible candidate you must have experience in a similar role with preference to working in the food industry.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Review/update Supply Chain practices
- Streamline processes and work on continuous improvement
- Oversee the logistics team and offer support/development where needed
- Delegate duties and ensure client requirements are met
- Negotiate rates with suppliers and implement cost effective solutions
- Ensure the output of export documentation is accurate and timely
- Experience working within Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably in the food industry
- Management/supervisory experience
- Understanding of export documentation
- Previous experience in managing projects and continuous improvement
- Leadership skills
- Proficiency in systems and MS Office applications
